Live Performance

MSS has offered us a wonderful opportunity to see live theatre at a price that we just can’t resist!  On Thursday, May 24th the Destinations classes will be attending a live whodunnit performance put on by MSS drama students.  As students watch the mystery unfold they will also get to see the high school actors model the elements of drama that we have been studying this year, like role, timing, relationship, etc. We will be collecting $2 per student to help cover the expenses of putting on this performance.  For more details on the show, please read the synopsis below.

It is December 1936, and Broadway star William Gillette, admired the world over for his leading role in the play Sherlock Holmes, has invited his fellow cast members to his Connecticut castle for a weekend of revelry. But when one of the guests is stabbed to death, the festivities in this isolated house of tricks and mirrors quickly turn dangerous. It is then up to Gillette himself, as he assumes the persona of his beloved Holmes, to track down the killer before the next victim appears. The danger and hilarity are non-stop in this glittering whodunnit set during the Christmas holidays.
