New Students

Welcome to the Destinations Programme!  As the summer wraps up and the new school year approaches, you may have some questions about the programme or even just your first day.  To help ease your worries and get you ready we have created some helpful videos.  Take a look below.  We look forward to seeing you soon!

What supplies do I need to bring on the first day?

*New for September 2017. We also recommend a large 11″ x 14″ sketchbook for art class.

Who will be teaching me?

At Destinations we realize that working as a team only makes us stronger, therefore you will be taught by each member of our team.  We play to our strengths, which means that we teach the subjects that we are most passionate about, and the ones with which we have the most experience.  Ultimately, though, we are the most passionate about you, the students, because you are the reason that we are here.

Our Destinations Team:

Jennifer Slater, Principal of Harry J. Clarke Public School

Tanya Whittaker, Vice-Principal of Harry J. Clarke Public School

Amy Claxton, Grade 7 Language and History, Grade 7 and 8 Music, and Grade 8 Drama and Dance

Angela Hayes, Grade 7 Math, and Grade 7 and 8 Science

Andrew Clarke, Grade 8 Language and History, Grade 7 Drama and Dance, and Grade 7 and 8 Art

Corey Tebo, Grade 8 Math, Grade 7 and 8 Geography, and Grade 7 and 8 Phys. Ed
