October 31st Dance

On October 31st all students at Destinations are invited to attend the dance at HJC. The dance will start at 1:35 p.m. and it goes to the end of the HJC day, which is 3:35 p.m. Students who are planning to take their regular bus home will walk back to MSS at 2:10 p.m. Students who wish to stay until the end of the HJC school day need to bring in a note specifying that they have permission to stay at HJC until 3:35 p.m.  The cost of the dance is $2 for the shortened length and $4 for the full dance. All proceeds go to Gleaners Food Bank, so any additional monetary donations are welcome.

Finally, to participate in the dance students need to make sure that they are all caught up in their work.  Any student who has work owing to a teacher will have until the end of lunch recess on the day of the dance to complete that work in order to attend the dance.  Students who do not wish to attend the dance (or who need to complete owing work) will remain in the Destinations classes during the dance time.
