Pink, Green, It’s a Rainbow of Learning

This week we recognized pink shirt day and together we wore pink as a way of standing up against bullying.  Nice work showing that you care, Destinations!

The grade 7s also had a guest speaker, John Burns, come to speak to the class about his solar panels.  His answers to the students’ many questions will help to prepare students for their upcoming debates on the Ontario green energy plan.

There have also been many things happening in the grade 8 classes, like their wonderful work on their history board games.  Check out Miss Haley’s twitter for even more pictures.

Enjoy your long weekend!
