What a Big Weekend!

This weekend, students from Ms. S-P’s science fair club presented their projects at the Regional Science Fair.  From the effects of onions, to the fire hazards of fabric softener, and recent studies on procrastination, learning was clearly on display.  Congratulations Reid, Vish, Sarah, Insaf and Maya!

HJC also hosted a vendor sale in order to raise funds to support the breakfast club.  Thank you to all of the parents, students and staff who showed their support.  Your time will help make hungry tummies happy!

Starting soon we will be collecting non-perishable food for our school wide “food fight.”  Each class and high school is competing to collect the most food for Gleaner’s Food Bank.  What a fun way to support a great cause!

Finally, we’d like to send out an invitation to families to join us at this year’s HPEDSB Band Fest.  On Thursday, April 6th we will be one of 12 bands performing at CSS.  Feel free to pop by and hear us.  We’ll be on stage in the auditorium from 10:45-11:15 a.m.  We’d love to have an audience!
