Welcome to Harry J. Clarke Public School
Harry J. Clarke PS, located in the heart of Belleville's residential east end and close to the YMCA, serves approximately 600 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. Harry J. Clarke offers a French Immersion Program for students in Grades 4 to 8. Harry J. Clarke PS is a Healthy Active School Community. The school is proud of its library with bilingual resources, access to several Chromebooks on mobile carts, a well-equipped gym and a music room. Students have access to playing instruments, programming digital music, choir, clubs, team sports, intramural programs, and student leadership. Community and parent involvement is always welcomed at this busy and active school.
Our school logo is the hawk and at HJC we celebrate the positive actions of everyone through our "Hawks have Heart" monthly recognition program. Our staff and students are kind and respectful and this is just one way we can acknowledge all the great acts of positivity happening in our school community!
Students proceed to Eastside Secondary School for Grades 9 to 12 and our French Immersion students can select to continue their enriched French program at Bayside Secondary School.
